Crap, I forgot all about my beloved forum game.
Sorry guys. Next turn:
You grab your silk tights out of your pack and rip them into strips.
You wrap the strips around your two major wounds, and press one against your head cut.
The bleeding slows, but it isn't stopped.
You hear the 4 men shouting from the various bushes.
"Lockstock! Hold your fire until you can see them!"
"Engineer, get me to my cabin. Have you done surgery before?"
"Not at all, boss."
"Fantastic, help me up."
You are laying in your bed. You told the engineer to track down a pair of pliers.
He walks back in, he found some.
You hear the ships main gun fire 3 shots above.
"Alright, i'm going to need you to pull these bullets out, engineer"
"Okay, this might hurt."
"I expect it to."
Surprisingly enough, it didn't hurt until he had the bullet out.
You grunt in pain, trying to keep from yelling.
You apply pressure to the now bulletless arm wound.
"Alright, boss, we got that one out. Now for your leg"
This bullet is in deeper than the arm one.
A few inches deeper.
The pliers dive into the wound, you feel them move about, seeking out the lead.
Out comes the bullet.
You curse like a sailor, at the top of your lungs.
Lockstock comes into your cabin.
"Get over here and put pressure on this wound!"
You say to him, tossing him part of your tights.
"On it!''
He hurries over, and applies pressure.
The bleeding stops.
You feel faint.
"Were then any of the bandits left, Lockstock?"
"No boss, I got them."
"Good."
You fall asleep.

That worked well. Still, Perhaps we should seek more professional treatment.

Naah. It'll be fine.

We are out of gold. If the guys don't find food, we're in trouble. Perhaps we should accrue more coinage to keep us alive and in fancy navy uniforms until we start hitting pay-dirt with the privateering.

Yes. Loot and sell stuff.

Also, wasn't our pilot supposed to arrive this last turn?

food

Apparently we killed the bandits. Go scoop up the bear they shot and make bear jerky out of it.

Although the engineer said he "got them" he could mean he scared them off,,so I say we loot the shunters who are dead, !and not the bear because. Bears are heavyset, then help engineer

"Were there any bandits left?" "No boss, I got them." ...seems like  strange way to mean "they got away." Though the entire sequence is rather unclear.

They're being called "bandits" even though they shot the bear before they even saw us and were obviously hunting.

And yet, after shooting the bear they were hunting, they apparently chose to abandon it to chase after us instead.

But somehow, despite us having three gunshot wounds, one of which was in a leg and at least "a few inches" deep, and with bleeding heavy enough that we were unable to stop it without help from the engineer...we were somehow able to outrun them all the way back through the wetlands to the ship without them managing to shoot us again. It's unclear whether the additional shots being fired as we ran were even aimed at us. If they weren't, it's unclear what they were firing at. If they were, it's unclear how four bandits/hunters with guns could possibly fail to run down and shoot a badly wounded target over an apparently distance run.

And yet apparently they were chasing us...and we somehow "heard the 4 men from the bushes" even after we were inside the ship...and despite being close enough to hear them run through bushes through the walls of the ship they were apparently still far enough that we had time to get to our cabin, into bed, and have our engineer go locate a wrench and return before they got close enough for us to fire on them.

...so, yeah.

We've become a privateer simply by telling people to do stuff for us. We killed a wolf. We convinced the duke to agree AND give us fancy uniforms. We're awesome, that's why.

Plus the hull is still unfinished, so there's that. And they could be hungry bandits who haven't found someone to rob(In the same vein as we are), so first they secured the bear.

Ok, so life hates me and didn't give me access to a computer last night.
So, after tonight, we'll go back to 1 turn a day, I promise.
Anyway, clearing up the last turn.
You outran the bandits because of the adrenaline rush.
Yeah.
The bandits missed you because they were shooting through thick patches of wetland flora.
We didn't hear the men from the bushes, we heard Lockstock shooting at them.
The bandits were hunting, and focused on the bear.
And they are bandits, just by the fact that they shot us.
The hull was finished by last turn.
And I know the pilot was supposed get here, I couldn't figure out how to throw that in.
Anyway, ill do that next turn tonight.

Yes yes.

You wake up half way through the day.
You hear arguments on the main deck.
You grunt as you get out of bed, Your wounds still hurt a bit.
You enter the sunlight, and you notice an attractive red-haired woman going at it with Lockstock.
"Calm down you two! What's the meaning of this?"
"This woman, walks right in here, and says she's the new pilot! Thats what's going on here!" Lockstock replies with. In a certainly less than refined tone.
"The big idiot tried to shoot me!"
You slept through that part.
"Alright, alright, calm down. We've had problems with other people as of late. He's just taking precautions."
"Fine. Your ship isn't exactly much to talk about. Do the engines even work?"
"Well, no. We haven't gotten that far yet."
"Pfft. So they sent me out here to twiddle my thumbs while you merry band of idiots try to get it working?"
"Pretty much. So, whats your name, lass?"
"Mary Longpipe, sir."
"Very well. Just pick an empty room to call your quarters, and we'll go from there."
She heads under the deck, you hear muffled cries of surprise. Probably from the engineer.
"This will take some getting used to, eh, Lockstock?"
"Indeed."
You hear some cheerful discussion a few yards from the base of the ship, and peek over the side to see your hunters returning, with a bear and deer.
"I see you brought home food!"
"That we did, boss, that we did."
"Yes sir, this should feed us for a while."
"Indeed it will, get up here."
You lower a ramp for them to use.
You warn your grunts about the pilot, and scurry off to check up on the engineer, and maybe help him out a little bit.
"Engineer, where are you!"
You hear some crying in a dark corner in the engine room.
"Hello? Engineer, what are you doing in there?"
You hear him say in a terrifyed voice.
"There was a scary woman down here.... She yelled at me..."
"For the love of the gods, man, get out of there, that was our pilot."
"If you say so... So what are you down here for?"
"I came down to see if you wanted any help with anything, I have nothing to do as of now."
"Alright, well, I could use some help lifting this part into place..."
You help the engineer work on the engines for a while,
+1 to engine progress.
So, it will be around night by the time your done helping the engineer, a few things to be covered:
What do we send the men to do?
Should we send the pilot to do something?
What should we do?

A few things to note,
We have no money.
We have plenty of food,
and water is abundant.

Send men into town to sell the bear hide. And send another to retrieve the rifle.
