If it wasn't clear from the first post, i suck at drawing. Wich is one of the reasons i have never really done it.
I can't draw a proper circle, rectangle or straight line in general (without a ruler).

Regardless all that, my advice should still apply. You don't NEED straight lines, just a basic way of framing things, and then improving things from there as you see fit. My airship above was completely freehand (it was scanned in and colored on the computer), and my straight lines aren't the most reliable either.

Here are some links to help:
http://garethpritchard.hubpages.com/hub/How-to-draw-cars-easy--step-by-step (Has a few cheaty tracing methods, and other links)
http://www.dragoart.com/sports-cars-c179-1.htm (Has more of the angle I was also trying to explain. Also has other useful drawing guides.)
http://www.autodrawings.net/ (Some inspiration)
http://youtu.be/taQyroRKraE (A video that shows similar to what I explained)

It sounds like the assignment is less about getting a huge stack of ideas for a sweet ride the teacher will build, and more about getting you to step outside your comfort zone and just be creative. Quality wouldn't matter. Just throw some lines down on a few papers and see what pops up.

As for actual help: think about what you want your ideal car to do, or where it should go, or your body position when you're in it. I bet if you drew a hot tub with wheels it would be hilarious and awesome. Where would all that water slosh when you stopped? Are there seat belts? How many hot babes can it hold? These questions change your design (there are slosh intake recycle vents in the front, there are no seat belts, and it can hold seven hot babes).

I think one other guy in my class already did that.
When i mentioned that it looked like he traced over something, he reponded with a remark about how i suck in drawing, completely irrelevant to the discussion.

Anyway, thanks for the insight Leonardo.
