Timber 25, 128Almost as soon as the last ambush was slain another ambush of Sand Raider bowmen has attacked. The militia has been sent out once again. I wonder if there are still any of them lurking in the shadows.
Timber 27, 128Oh look! A bucket none of the doctors will use to give water to patients. Interestingly the events depicted on the bucket actually occurred here in Boltaura. In more productive news my meeting with the liaison has concluded. I’ve requested more of the same goods I’ve requested for the last few years. I still need to speak with him about our progress of becoming a barony.
Timber 28, 128What the hell. I made sure to follow all of the requirements for becoming a barony but the liaison did not grant us the title. I have the citizens, I have the wealth, I even exported double of what was required and yet nothing. As he was leaving the fortress I branded him a traitor and ordered the militia to strike him down. Needless to say they completed their task and the liaison lies dead outside of the fortress.
Moonstone 5, 128A kidnapper has made off with a child. I don’t know why they want children but I don’t really care. Less people I have to deal with. I don’t know who made dwarven child labor laws but I know I hate that person.
Moonstone 18, 128The bunker is now stocked and ready for any form of apocalypse. Everyone else will probably die but my precious gems and I will survive and I will rebuild the fortress if anything ever happens to it. So long as the bunker stands Boltaura will not fall.
Moonstone 29, 128Why are soldiers with broken bones still training in the barracks? Why are they not in the hospital? They need to receive medical attention. Actually, knowing our hospital I know exactly why they continue to train instead of see the doctors. They’re more likely to come out of a battle than they are to come out of surgery.
Obsidian 10, 128The war yeti trained over a year ago has gone feral. I had assigned the animal trainer to the beast full time to make sure something like this didn’t happen. Instead he decided to slack off and ignore his duties allowing the beast to roam through the fortress attacking innocent citizens. I had no other choice than to order the militia to put the beast down. He had outlasted his usefulness anyway. Without a mate for breeding he just sat in the kennels since the day he was trapped.
