OOC: What armor does Kale have? I'm seriously hoping he's wearing Vinzenz armour
I doubt it belonged to Vinzenz. Fishy has been producing more masterpieces so any gear we had then was most likely moved down the line of soldiers. On top of that everyone had generic steel gear, nothing special. The only special piece of equipment is Neo's bastard sword.

Are you going to train marksdwarfs later on?

When will the king arrive?
I have a couple kill-the-nobles projects I want to see tested share.

We need to be a metropolis first and that requires 140 citizens.

Do we have any useless peasants?
Also do you plan on putting the save up for download later on?

Sort of, they're all hauling stuff. I'll post the save after I finish the fortress but I plan on using the same world for future fortresses. I might even come back for a reclaim eventually.

Yeah, for whatever reason, everyone seems to think that you can't edit the save files.  Dunno why people think that.
Working now. Bugbear bones everywhere.
Actually I was wrong. Its not working. Those were war animal bones I mistook because they were named. They're still not butchering sentients.

Oh.  Yeah.  You can't ever do that.  Ever.  Only Elves in legends can.  You could make them animals for a little while (getting rid of [INTELLIGENT] might do it, I dunno), then change them back before their time of year, but that might be a bit wonky.

I think the slaughter part is what made them angry.

Timber 25, 128
Almost as soon as the last ambush was slain another ambush of Sand Raider bowmen has attacked. The militia has been sent out once again. I wonder if there are still any of them lurking in the shadows.

Oh look! A bucket none of the doctors will use to give water to patients. Interestingly the events depicted on the bucket actually occurred here in Boltaura.  In more productive news my meeting with the liaison has concluded. I’ve requested more of the same goods I’ve requested for the last few years. I still need to speak with him about our progress of becoming a barony.

What the hell. I made sure to follow all of the requirements for becoming a barony but the liaison did not grant us the title. I have the citizens, I have the wealth, I even exported double of what was required and yet nothing. As he was leaving the fortress I branded him a traitor and ordered the militia to strike him down. Needless to say they completed their task and the liaison lies dead outside of the fortress.

Moonstone 5, 128
A kidnapper has made off with a child. I don’t know why they want children but I don’t really care. Less people I have to deal with. I don’t know who made dwarven child labor laws but I know I hate that person.

The bunker is now stocked and ready for any form of apocalypse. Everyone else will probably die but my precious gems and I will survive and I will rebuild the fortress if anything ever happens to it. So long as the bunker stands Boltaura will not fall.

Moonstone 29, 128
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Why are soldiers with broken bones still training in the barracks? Why are they not in the hospital? They need to receive medical attention. Actually, knowing our hospital I know exactly why they continue to train instead of see the doctors. They’re more likely to come out of a battle than they are to come out of surgery.

Obsidian 10, 128
The war yeti trained over a year ago has gone feral. I had assigned the animal trainer to the beast full time to make sure something like this didn’t happen. Instead he decided to slack off and ignore his duties allowing the beast to roam through the fortress attacking innocent citizens. I had no other choice than to order the militia to put the beast down. He had outlasted his usefulness anyway. Without a mate for breeding he just sat in the kennels since the day he was trapped.

I hope that they didn't let this yeti rot... Or else I'm not cooking for this fortress anymore. And Reaver ordered the death of the outpost liason. Now we aren't going to get what we asked for, and all because he wanted to be a damn baron. And his bunker idea? Selfish as all hell. He's starting to go a bit crazy, methinks.

This is a dwarf. It is decorated with dwarfiness and menaces with spikes of Brit. Engraved on the dwarf is an image of a dwarf digging a hole. This relates to the digging of a hole by Honeydew the dwarf in 2011.

I was the deceased vessel through which dark magick was done and Necrothreat III was created from the ruins of my old forum posts: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=118805.0

I agreed with your bunker plan... Until now.

Did you really have to place tons of gems in there? >.>

Yep. It fits his character and he has been the one cutting all of them. Sadly he cannot fit every gem of them in the bunker.
