I have updated in the main post that I will no longer be doing this with video due to some technical issues. Instead I will change it over to written format with screenshots. I would like to apologise ahead of time as I do not have the best of grammar. Feel free to correct me as I wouldn't mind improving it.
PrologueThe king has spoken. Apparently he believes that I would be the best candidate to start up a new fortress for the North Guilds. I guess he thinks I have better things to do than sit in my office and count my money. At least he promised me it would be somewhere interesting. Somewhere nice and warm, maybe even tropical. I guess a vacation would be nice after all counting 2 coins over and over can get pretty boring. The king has even given me six of his finest subjects to accompany me to the site. I am to depart for the south tomorrow and I will write again when I have reached the site of the new fort.

He lied to me. He promised me a tropical paradise and sent me to a glacier. Instead of palm trees and exotic animals I have snow and ice. I will show him. I will make the greatest fortress ever seen by dwarven kind. And then, when he comes to see it for himself, I will kill him. I vow today that I, Reaver, will slay the king of the North Guilds and I will take his seat of power for myself. All I have to do is wait and build my power. Granted we are in a glacier but how hard could it really be? We are dwarves, surviving is what we do. At the least I was not sent alone though I now see why he sent these dwarves with me. First we have Fishybang our smith who manages to smell of fish even though we did not bring any on the trip. Our mason, Card, he is an odd one. He has yet to speak a single word. To communicate he writes on a little note card and holds it up for others to read. I stopped reading them after the first five minutes. Next we have Brewster and Saegee our carpenter and miner. Oddly enough these two are perfectly normal. No odd habits at all. Finally we have our guards Vinzenz and Neo. Vinzenz spent the entire trip on top of the caravan by himself. I don't blame him. I wouldn't want to deal with these dwarves either. But that Neo, he scares me. He spends more time talking to his sword more than anything else. He talks to it about what he is going kill with her, or how he's going to kill it, or what he's going to do afterwards. He really makes me wonder if these settlers are instead mental patients. Oh well, its time to set up. We need to get some shelter set up right away or we're all going to freeze in this barren wasteland.
