I don't know why I'm carrying 3 swords at once, but I like it.
You only have one left now D:
Blasphemy! I must have all the swords!
But its a giant bastard sword.

But it would be even better if it was a giant bastard sword accompanied by a multitude of smaller swords.

The other dwarves need to be armed too. You cant have all of the swords, only the ones not in use. I also think it raised your skill higher. Neo and Vinzenz both started with the exact same skills. Currently you're skill in swordsdwarf 9 while he is 6.

I'll take Momuz the farmer, if you're currently accepting more dorfs. My dorfage at Towersoared is likely a long way away, so I'll be the same here. A chef, name him Ramsey, he gets REALLY angry at anyone who makes low-quality meals (*Superior* quality, +Finely+ crafted, -Well- crafted). And yes, I based him off of Gordon Ramsey from Hell's Kitchen.

((Probably because he was using three swords at the same time.  3x gain?))

VICTORY! We have driven off the bugbears without suffering a single casualty. The only injured soldier is a recruit that received a broken arm. The militia succeeded in striking down seven of their pikemen while the rest ran away to cry to their leaders. Now they will fear our dwarven steel. Now they will fear Boltaura! Of the dead Vinzenz has claimed four kills and Kale one. The other two belong to other lesser known members of the militia. This victory has given me the idea to increase the size of our defensive forces. With the next wave of migrants I will expand the militia to two full squads if possible. To do so I will promote Neo and allow him to command his own squad. I only wonder if he will demand more swords for himself or demand more swords for his entire squad.

I’ve finished trading with the merchants. They did not bring much but it was helpful regardless. We are still cleaning after the siege. Their weapons will be useful for trading with future caravans. Less of our dwarven made goods we have to waste on the other races.

Spoiler: Overview (click to show/hide)
Spring has arrived and with it another year at Boltaura comes to a close. We have made much progress in the last year. With the majority of the fortress dug out we have been able to dig in search of useful ores. The only digging the fortress will require is the eventual expanding of the housing areas and future storage space. The caverns will soon be more secure. Brewster still complains of a lack of traps so I have invited him to draw up a plan for traps that he finds adequate. Most of the incidents in the caverns have occurred across the bridge to the west. By the farms there has yet to be a single creature spotted. Other than that there hasn’t been much physical growth of the fortress but much economic growth. This year we have actually exported dwarven goods back to the mountainhome rather than give them goods raided from other caravans. We have also increased our value over tenfold! We really are becoming a prosperous settlement. The population of Boltaura now rests at eighty seven. Over four times the population we had at the end of last year. To add to this we are expecting a large migration wave in the spring. With caravan returning home everyone will know of the prosperity of the mighty fortress Boltaura!

Journal of Ramsey, master chef (BADUM TISH REFERENCE PUN)

This godsforsaken glacier sucks. I'm just glad we can live in a nice warm cave. Reaver needs to send out hunters so I can cook with more meat. Plants are getting boring, and it's healthy to have meat in your diet. And we need all the healthy we can get in this wasteland. I'm going to suggest this idea to Reaver.

Journal of Ramsey, master chef (Still stealth pun LOL)

I heard that Fishy, the rather eccentric smith who is addicted to fish, and Card, the bizzare mute mason, are romantically involved. This could be interesting. Also, the fortress is over 80 population. This means that there's a change that horrible beasts, both from below and the surface, will start attacking. I hear they can provide a lot of meat when butchered, so I hope one shows up.

(OOC: You have Beenoc as a farmer and Ramsey as a cook both listed as taken. I only wanted Ramsey the cook, I meant for you to change the farmer's profession and name. Just FYI.)

Well I finaly confronted Card about the whole notes on the door thing, and it turns out that he is actually rather nice, funny, and caring. Well i guess that means I will stop harrasing him about the whole hammerer thing.

My bad. I had changed Momuz's name and I had a cook already so I just renamed him as well. The dwarf list was lacking so I just recently updated the list of all the dwarves with the basic professions since updating each with a screenshot took too long and I was lazy.

Edit: I thought you would also like to know that your skill in cooking is actually master.
