All the nobles my royal guard and many workers even some animals never leave my party hall!  And some lost human has been sitting on one of my tables for quite awhile, wonder were he came from?

If you remove the meeting hall designation the party will stop, just make sure to put it back so it will still count as a meeting hall.

If you just give the dwarves a few days they will make a new friend and get a happy thought from it.

Maybe Toady should add an annoyance or noise pollution factor to parties so that cranky old dwarves start complaining. Also the sheriff could come and put an end to the party after so long. Drunkard fights after a time are a must too.

Oh man, that would be awesome. Drunken parties go horribly wrong and turn into a brawl after someone says the wrong thing.

Every item in that room isn't safe from becoming a weapon, whether a chair used to smack someone out of consciousness, or a statue thrown across the room at a cat.
