Probably this is considered Anti-topic by some (rather than off-topic), but there's Rex and Max Bumgardner, both born the same year[1] and both started careers in the NFL[2].

Assuming that someone hasn't been seeding Wiki with some spoof information.  But I knew there had been someone of that surname, and found myself surprised that there were apparently two of 'em, in different parts of the country.

(One of them only played for a year, apparently.  I wonder if the scenario was that a scout went "We need to keep an eye on that Bumgardner lad, he looks good", and the manager/whoever didn't check he was keeping an eye on the right guy because how many other young men of the same name could there be vying for NFL glory..? ;) )



[1] Erm, that is, they were born the same year.  It would have been... strange... if only one of them had been born in the same year, but the other hadn't.

[2] I'd be willing to bet that there'd have been a Boy Named Sue effect.
