I'm not sure he's comfortable parting with any babies he has.

Looks nice.

On a side note, do the solar storms, have any significant effects yet. I'd expect them to be quite dangerous, seeing from the visual effects they have.

So death is in the next patch and once placing buildings costs something, uses resources etc. I think there will be enough of a game to fool around with. Not heard Simon talking about the economy though lately.

That lighting engine is goddamn gorgeous.

Turning off the ambient and putting lights into the room tiles really transformed the game I think. It was looking very bland before with all that flat ambient.

Yeah. I can turn that on right away, the main reason why I haven't is the AI is very finicky and it's just another thing that will slow them down.

The create new account link (on http://maiagame.com/members/) still doesn't work.

The link is members.maiagame.com!

I hadn't found a link on the homepage, so I guessed URLs until I found something that appeared to be the correct page.

I grabbed the game the other day, but haven't had the time to properly delve into it. Watching the video now... the game is GORGEOUS! And other aspects look and sound fantastic! Seriously, I am so incredibly excited to see this develop. This scratches so many itches that have been unscratched for too long...

Thanks for working on this. I can't wait.

I recently bought this after following it for a while and I'm really impressed with how it's shaping up.

I had to fiddle with the shaders a bit to get it to work on my ATI card, but I guess that's the downside of using a laptop. My desktop runs it great, and it looks amazing. Definitely looking forward to what's coming.

Any guess when the poor man's build comes out?

Simon, if we did the kickstarter thing, do we still have access to the builds you're releasing now in some form? I can't find it in my kickstarter profile unless I'm missing a page.
