Dang still looking unlikely we will be getting our custom robots. Especially given the popularity of Indiegogo.

Actually, I'm curious. Do you still plan to implement your stretch goals as future updates, if the game sells well after release, or are they too fundamental to plug in after the fact?

What exactly does this mean?

Id really hope that they would be implimented in the base game if only so the gameplay can reflect this change.

I've played games where expansion content either
A) Is excluded from the main game because it would completely inbalance it
or
B) Is included and... completely inbalances it.

For example when playing Decent 2nd edition (a board game) I noticed that one map is actually pretty balanced if the overlord only uses the creatures from the base game. Yet with all the 1st edition monsters he actually gets two full teams of tanks that have shifts.

Exactly. (there will also be Klaxons, naturally )

The additional worlds I definitely want to get in. As it's something that will be a bit different and interesting to do. Each different world would be a very different experience to the core game.

Personally I almost prefer the Klaxon to be a voice :P

I'd prefer it to be the voice from Theme Hospital that would be perfect! "Please, no dying in the corrodor"

So how does the game start? A small pre-genned base, a bunch of guys sitting around in ?space? suits, or a truck full of supplies? And will we be able to give people guns and march them out as a makeshift militia?

Maybe a small gameplay video just for us Simon ? ;)

Also about this LAN party. What are we going to be doing there ? Just out of interest. My relative has recently passed his driving text so I sure as hell will be there! And is it going to be sort of mid next year ? ( hopefully before September and university intakes :P )

It would be nice if the map starts were variable, similar to DF. Point system where you purchase supplies and skills for the colonists, as well as what vehicle they arrive in, etc.

I disagree... The first map needs to be familiar to help the players learn the ropes.

i second this, it would be nice to have a sandbox seed generator but we would still need to have some prebuilt maps for starters.
