Here's hoping things pick up big time. With only 12 days to go and what's looking like a failed kickstarter, though, I see difficulty building additional enthusiasm.
I think things will look up. Distance was far more dire than we are doing. We even had the start an uptick yesterday.
Also: I did an interview with the Guardian this week. As soon as that goes online then we might see a major traffic boom!
Pfff, The Guardian? 'Se a paper for fucking
teachers!
(Sorry, a while a go was at a festival and thought a friend had died of a drug overdose, blue lips, stiff as a board etc. We all rushed over to help her, fearing the worst, when she sat bolt upright and uttered the above phrase. I think the shocking unreality of the situation tripped some sort of deep seated neural circuitry,
because now whenever I hear mention of The Guardian I feel compelled to utter the above phrase.)
Anyway, that's a really big deal. Of course, since it's not published yet I imagine it's still under wraps and all, but can I ask will it be just an article on their website or in the actual meatspace newspaper* as well? Either is great as, despite the ongoing threat of a recession shaped like a roller-coaster or perhaps deluxe 70's sherbert based child's confection, the liberal pound is still strong.
*Is this the correct term for physical newspapers?
