I'm going to be honest. I liked the Lego Star Wars games. I thought they were clever, humorous, and even somewhat challenging. It isn't as if a lego rendition of something treats it seriously in the first place, you can't go into it expecting normal Star Wars. It's more of a satire, almost.

I was talking about the Legostarwars movie.

Which doesn't follow the movies unlike the game which follows it loosely.

Oh. Was not actually aware that was a thing.

Oh. Was not actually aware that was a thing.

Sometimes I pretend it isn't either.

Give it a watch, I am curious to what you think.

Since it really would sort of represent the worst thing Disney could do to Starwars.

I'm stuck between not doing to save my sanity, and watching it out of morbid curiosity.

Really? I always figured the worst thing was the Holiday Special.

Disney would not do the holiday special. I could fully see them making a live action version of the Legostarwars movie. (or movies if there is more then one)

Not what I meant. There was a Holiday Special way back in the day, made by Lucas Arts if I remember correctly. It is pretty much universally reviled.

I watched a review of it. The Nostalgia Critic, I think.

It deserves its reputation.

Let me give you one tidbit about the Special:

The first half-hour or so are entirely in the Wookie language (the name of which escapes me at the moment). Without subtitles.

Yes, that. Thank you.

30 minutes of that. No subtitles or translations of any kind. On top of an already crappy storyline involving a Wookie Christmas-analogue.

Face it, Star Wars has already had it's worse thing. Anything Disney does can only improve.

It isn't a bad movie... it is just REALLY jarring.
