We'll be starting with default raws and adding things in as requested (post in thread what you want added), and when we start someone will just post the world-gen files for a decent world.

This is so that those with slower internet speed (read: most likely only me) are able to play as well.

Aseaheru apparently has found a decent one, but the title is still up for grabs.  A vote will be held.

In response to your position of modded races: How do you feel about adding [civ_controllable] to some races, with the appropriate modifications to make those playable.

Mods that allow other civilizations to be playable.  May be removed if enough people request that they are.

I guess it doesn't really mater! I'll be doing dwarf cause that's what I like. It's just for having fun anyways.

Having the slowerest internet speed, this is good news for me.

I've not written much in terms of creative writing and I've never tried the hermit challenge, but I'm definitely interested. I think I might join in...I'd probably just go with dwarf myself, but I think having other playable races involved would be cool.
