Throwing dead bodies into a pit?
« on: October 30, 2012, 12:12:20 pm »

So my buddy and I are doing a succession game and he decided a haunted area was a good idea...  It's my turn now and all the creatures his war dogs slaughtered are now coming back to life and causing choas, again...   My solution to this was to try to build a pit and throw all the bodies, parts, hair and anything else that might want to get revenge on my dwarves...  Made the pit, set the zone, but can't get them to throw the bodies down it....  I tried putting a dump in that zone too but since there isn't a floor it doesn't say there is one there... Any suggestions please!?  Thanks!

You need to set the zone up NEXT to the hole. Dwarves will happily throw into any holes next to a dumping zone, which leads to occasional concussion of death from them throwing it back into their friends.
