Well, we have lungs of a sort. Nothing like what you normally assume a lung to be like, but they perform gas exchange. Properly they are called spiracles.

They have book lungs, which would be better than what a centipede has but still not good enough, I don't think.  Besides, we haven't eaten any spiders, but we did eat a rat.

You soon realise that in this stone environment there really is little to eat. Well, there's the stone but that's a bit difficult. Instead, you decide to copy the digestive track of that scrawny creature you ate sometime ago. You curl up and soon begin metamorphosing.

You awake with your new digestive system ready to devour the life of this place, what little there is. The nearby lichen would be good for you...now only if you could actually reach it.

Your new digestive system reminds you that your hungry. Again.
