Is there a way to make people take off their caps?
Specifically, I want to apply an "over clothing" equipment profile on the military, but they can't wear their helms over the caps they are already wearing and owning, which they've migrated with. I've tried dumping and forbidding them.
Or, is there a way to mod caps to be unshaped again? (I haven't modded before though, and I don't have DFHack on my Mac.)

I might just use a "replace clothing" set instead.

use 'replace clothing', then DFHack to remove ownership, dump the caps, and revert to 'over clothing, if you like
