You are never lost as long as you have a trusty and reliable Compass. Mine kept pointing North, so I just removed the red Needle! Problem solved!

Then I proceeded to pick up the rest of the bunnies, the masterfully crafted bronze statue, and its head. The head will be his trophy... But I need money.

There isn't any error; the thing just doesn't open at all.
If it's not printing any message, it's possible Wine is simply preventing it from running (or it's silently crashing) - there are lots of different error message it can display if something goes wrong.

It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Ok, that means I'll need to include some extra guardrails to prevent the ratmen from getting in. Depending on the temperature, but I think these might be used as special traffic conduits.

Is there is a fearless-looking dwarf man in (or eligible for) the military?
I'm thinking of a new dwarf named Jackson, profession "Stonewall"

Maybe, I'll need to work it out. I'm used to the DF2010, DF2011, and DF2012 military so the earlier system is a little strange.

My intention is to arm up a military with steel weapons and take it from there. The ratmen invasions are extremely frequent and could actually wipe out the fort if we're not careful. I want to bridge off the barracks and the aqueducts so nothing can get in unless I want it to, and if I want it to I'll make sure there's a swarm of military dwarves to deal with it.

I really like the idea of this, and it looks like a short wait list. Sign me up for a turn.

I have only a bit of experience with 2D, so this could get very !!FUN!! very fast.

(I'm still pissed that my comp couldn't handle Horrorfailed... try to keep the number of dismembered body parts within the triple digits for me, 'kay? ^^;)

Mr Frog has joined the party. Everybody keep your hands on your drinks, lest we befall his concoctions.

Honestly, given my track record with these things it's probably best not to assume I have joined any parties until I actually show up for the festivities (kicking and screaming optional).

As hilarious/dickish/hilarious as it'd be to use Spearbreakers!Mr Frog as my dorf, thus indirectly turning this into a prequel, I think I'll just make up an original character.

Last time I checked we only had some 15-odd dead dwarves, most of the severed body parts get dumped back to where they came from.

Hey I personally ordered a large number of trees cut down.

Hey I personally ordered a large number of trees cut down.
Almost everyone already did that. I think the second our mayor comes, elf diplomat comes. We're like Himmlers of tree world.
I am scared of that cat...
The cat knows what you did. Also, incidentally, it is the last thing an adopted dwarf ever sees.
