---Archer and Monk---
"The Highest Prophet holds the closest position to the gods. This form is a consequence of coming too close to such being. This temple was built in order to house not only you six and Azrel, but myself as well. Regardless, what you children seek is no mere ceremony to become recognized adults. Jumping off a tall rock would prove just as well. You children seek The Trials."

Ulimenai keeps silent, allowing the Highest Prophet to continue talking if silence is kept.

((Yep, seasonal waiting :/))

Cora looked at Ulim, then gestured to continue speaking, waiting for more information about the area.

(I've been waiting on you guys to post/giving everyone a chance to go through the holiday schedule.)

((Sorry polo, exams > Holidays happened :P))

"Yes ma'am. But we're only novices in our art. What exactly are The Trials, and what must one do when meeting them? Is it some sort of task to be done, or a test of intangible will? A battle, or something else to make us worthy of adulthood?"

(To you guys in the big group, once the RP is done, and the other two are in their set, I'll update your combat again. Sorry for the delay.)
---Archer and Monk---
"The Trials are a grouping of arbitrary tests designed to test one's will to face hardship. The real trial lies at the end, in Euphoria, the land of dreams, power, and downfall." The prophet pauses for a moment, solemnly observing the two of you. "Heroes are not simply born, you see. Mortals are born with the capability, but can only breach their true power through the graces of Euphoria. Even your precious Azrel, though he is a special case." Again the prophet pauses, though this time she seems to be lost in the past. She speaks again, snapping back into the present. "All six of you children hold dark powers that Euphoria is unable to control. If you fail the Trials, and Euphoria strips you of all light, you will need to chase the darkness if you wish to become stronger." There is one last pause before the prophet speaks again. "I tire of exposition, if you have no more questions, I shall send you to your test. Are you ready?"

Ulimenai gazes at the Prophet, saying "I am ready" without hesitation.

"As am I," Cora echoed, stroking the handle of her bow as if to ready herself for any battle ahead.

This was it. The time of reckoning.

---Archer and Monk---
When you both finish your answers, the prophet retracts her head back into the darkness. You see no visible movements from the prophet, but after a few seconds of silence, the chains on her wings seem to rattle, and suddenly fall off! She spreads her wings wide, the room seeming to grow in order to accommodate her. As the distance between the two of you and the prophet seems to grow, she begins to fly at unbelievable speeds in pursuit of you, yet the distance never seems to shrink, until finally she overpowers the growing space, and she flies right through you.
The two of you faint from the experience, and awaken in an unfamiliar land. There's a note held to a tree by an arrow. It reads;

Those that come, tested
The tested fall or rise
Those that fall, forgotten
Those that rise, heroes

Seekers of the trial,
Should you seek power
Take it from the menace
The red soul of madness

On the back is a second note, much less cryptic than the first. It seems to be from the prophet, telling you to retrieve a precious red gemstone in the shape of an egg from a nearby goblin camp.

---All Other Students---
Allero takes a slow, clumsy stab at the Agile Shade, but the shade's unusually poor dodging allowed the attack to land. The Big Shade lumbers over to Majere and makes an attack, however the mage expertly avoids any damage. (32 damage to Agile Shade!)

Oliver berates his defender, then fires a shot at the Big Shade, while his workers go after one of the little shades, all attacks landing. The Agile Shade tries to get another attack on Allero, but overshoots entirely. (6 damage to Big Shade, 13 damage to Little Shade 3!)

Majere recovers from his dodge and launches another Energy Ball at the Agile Shade, landing a solid blast. The little shades go after Majere and Lot. While Majere is hit, Lot just barely dodges, using the chance to launch his Purity Chakram on the Little Shades again, both just barely hitting. (13 damage to Majere! 30 damage to Agile Shade, 13 damage to both shades!)

"Are you alright?" Ulimenai asks, concerned.

Ulimenai looks, both around and on himself, trying to grasp his surroundings.

"Yah!"

Regular attack against the Agile Shade.
