Kwyk gets a rather annoyed look on her face, reaching up to grab at the illusion, unaware of its true nature.

Kwyk finds what looks remarkably like (but of course is not quite) a so-called 'basilisk' fractal pattern of the kind common in science fiction in front of her.

More importantly, Marielusion dodges Kwyk's grabs.

"Good kitty!"

Kwyk ignores the pattern, and keeps trying to grab at the illusion, a grin creeping on to her face.

((Basically psychological weapons that knock you out or kill you just by looking at them, depending on the writer. Scary things. This is an imitation, but it looks close enough to panic sci-fi fans ))
Marielusion continues to dodge and...kisses Kwyk?

Kwyk's skin appears to rot at the point of contact. And it spreads.

Camille keeps silent, but moves a bit away from the two of them.

James grins but steps back. "This's kinda funny..."

[Vorthon]

Kwyk bellows in rage, trying to grab the illusion even more frantically.

[Twi]

Marielusion is unnaturally agile and manages to avoid being hit, while the 'rotting' spreads, but stops along the center line. In other words, Kwyk is starting to look like Marie.

[Vorthon]

Kwyk flips the fuck out, grabbing the laptop and throwing it.

[Twi]

Camille catches it and manages to keep the camera-bits pointed at Kwyk.

Marielusion briefly stutters like static, but quickly regains cohesion.

Theeen everything goes back to normal and Marielusion disappears. Until, that is, Kwyk sees fireworks, hears birthday poppers, and gets an illusionary cake splattered onto her face.

"Surprise!"

James begins lightly clapping.
"Amazing. Simply amazing."

She melts out of the air.
