She growls, her feet driving spikes into the ground to secure herself. The tentacles quickly start glowing and heating up, growing cutting barbs that rip into Krieg's hands.

The glowing tendrils are springy and flexible, and slightly gooey. As he touches one, he starts seeing images of an Alphabet.

As he licks one, he pretty much starts learning common. Since he probably already knows common, this means he is simply getting an image of a classroom.

She nods, and withdraws her tentacles. The slightly damaged appendages melting back into her hands, leaving a bruise on her right palm. The axe is tossed into the trees, far away from Allie.

Krieg gets up, glaring at Dia and Kwyk, and gets her maul back.

"I was just getting warmed up."

She stalks off back into the brush.

Maria sighs and goes over to Dia.

"If you want her to listen to you, understand:  Unless it's very clear who's in charge -she is a soldier, after all- chances are she'll do whatever she feels like doing. It's remarkable she gave up that fast, really."
