Camille sneaks up behind Richard and then...
"Nya!"

"Oh. Hi."

Richard smirks, then opens the book.

The book seems to be...empty.

But it seems to radiate with a strange power.

But then? You said she left, which means that this is far from the end of the story...

"Well, we started as normal. We didn't have that much physical contact, and I was still reticent. I thought she was a good person, but I wasn't so sure about having her as my lover...Anyway, months passed, and I slowly started to fall in love with her. You see, I don't quite believe in 'love at first sight', so what happened was actually what I expected to happen if I ever got to loving someone."

He puts his hand over Ke's as he talks, reminiscing what has passed.
"I started to love her, and we became more open with each other. We shared secrets and dreams, and...Err, she took the first step, and we ended up doing it, after she finally broke the last barrier I had been holding. It was slightly awkward for me and apparently a lot less for her, but it was still good and she was my first...And we kept travelling together, now as lovers."

"The problem is that one day she disappeared. We were sleeping one day, and she stood up during the night. I woke up as well, and I asked where she was going, and she gave me a playful answer before leaving. I thought she was just joking, but the next day she wasn't there anymore."

He waves towards his backpack.

"You see, the knowledge of good apothecary formulas is worth a good amount. I never found her anymore, but I heard disturbing rumours, and even months after her disappearance, I was searching for her to dispel my doubts. That's it. Foolish and shallow, but that's our story."

"Hey steve." You speak into the air.
>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

She nods, hugging Sona for a moment, before finishing her soup. She ignores the 'Primal' urge to devour the bowl for fire fuel.

Meanwhile, she turns her head.

I see... You feel she was trying to use sex and a false love to trick you?

"The fuck do you mean by 'plot'"

Lucas is sitting on the far side of the room, and is fiddling with the rifle's clip. A loud pop is heard, and several Full sized veils launch at him. By the time it is over, he appears to be a slightly humanoid Lionwolf pup. Who is of course female. (( As in, now he is a Anthropomorphic Lionwolf pup.))
Why. Just why did I make this stuff.

A blast of blue light rushes out of the book and into Richard and Camille's faces.

"Oooh, a magic book. Nifty. What does it do?"

She then gets light-ed.

"...That."

"Fine."
Allie drinks the rest of the soup, which is about half of what she made. The pot itself goes in, too.

Camille feels nothing.

Richard...however...

A voice speaks from the book.
"This is the Compendium. Container and facilitator of the fusing of Personas.

As it has entered the hands of one blessed with the power of the Wild Card, and there is no other way, it shall be yours to command.

Be wary of it's power."

The book fell silent, then six lines appeared on a page.

I see... You feel she was trying to use sex and a false love to trick you?

"That is the problem. I can't know for sure, but the evidences point that way, and they are too convincing. She wasn't kidnapped as far as I know, and I didn't hear anything about her being captured by someone or the like. I did hear about her escaping north, and I was trying to follow her trail."

Bartholomew rolls on his back, staring at the underside of the top of the bunk.

"You see, that is the most probable cause, but I really prefer to believe it wasn't that way...And I feel like there is a nagging voice which calls me an idiot for trying to think about love instead of accepting the truth, and there is also a feeling like lead in my stomach whenever I think she actually tricked me, as if making it clear I shouldn't doubt people and judge them so easily...But the lead has become lighter, and the nagging voice is like a choir now."
