Allie goes to the hardware store and back, dragging along a black oven and something rectangular inside of her. She installs the oven.

Kwyk steps away from the veilpile, looking at it suspiciously.

Maria stands next to Kwyk.

"And Lazarus rose again..." she murmurs, in a bit of awe herself.

Kwyk looks over at Maria, a smirk on her face.

"Heh."

"Did you know I went into battle with this beast before?

...Of course, I saw it go up in a ball of fire, too.

So yes. Lazarus has risen. ...once someone gets to putting functional weapons on it, I guess."

She pulls a microvave out and installs it above the oven. And back to the hardware store.

"I honestly doubt something like that really needs weapons. It could probably just stomp the competition to dust."

She tilts her head curiously.

"First thing, did it pass from you to her? And second, you really know how to make me feel terribly guilty."

Bartholomew, after cleaning part of the room, stops working for a moment and sits down on one of the bunks.

Allie comes back carrying a large pot and eight metal bowls. She didn't put them in storage because sanitation. Now Allie's ready to cook.
"Dianea, can you go fetch the plants I mentioned?"

Maria smirks. "You'd be surprised what concentrated artillery fire can do."

She nods, and melts away. Presumably to fetch the plants.

From me. It's not exactly fair to blame her for how she's feeling. She quite literally has many, many years where she could only feel certain things through proxy. And now, not only can she feel... But she has attractions she can never carry out, because they aren't hers to have.
