Sona joins the group fighting the ship.
"Uh, why're you guys fighting this thing?"

Adrian gives Alcron a wave from his corner when he walks into the hive.

"Because it shot at us! Although apparently it's a ghost or something. Ugh... I don't like fighting fairy tales!"

Maria shouts back at Sona, cleaving another automaton in two.

The machines in general witness the destructive power of the laser and Dia's plasma and start trying to avoid such attacks. They're not very good at it, though..

[SomeStupidGuy]

"It's trying to kill us or something. I dunno."

[Spinal_Taper]

"Why don't we step back a little, then try to think of a better tactic. I doubt it's going to stand up and come at us."

[Slayerhero90]

"Hy. Dyd 4llye tell 4ny of you why she buylt her sh4kk?"

[OREOSOME]

Well this is a pleasant surprise. I mean, at least the Beam still works well against materiel. But if its shielded...

[Spinal_Taper]

"Hy. Dyd 4llye tell 4ny of you why she buylt her sh4kk?"

"Nope."

[Twi]

At that point, the massive walker completes its turn and begins to slowly stomp towards the group, shaking the ground with each step, still blazing away with cannons that do nothing.

The other automatons are making their way to the ground-bound members of the group, swords in hand...

Camille eyes her pistol nervously.

"So she dyd yt for no other re4son th4n 'why not'."

Jamie draws her sabre and enters a defensive stance.

[OREOSOME]

Luca begins performing a bit of Telekinesis assisted assault, performing flips and such around the Machines, firing a few bursts of heat at it.

She tilts her head, before swooping down again, lashing out again with another plasma charged strike before returning to the air to keep Barth safe. This time, to protect Sona from an attack.

[Twi]

While Maria is still slicing through her part...

The three other remaining automatons each charge a different person.

One charges Luca, moving aside to avoid the heat. It's taking some damage, but not being instantly destroyed.

Another runs at Camille. She empties eight rounds in it...to minimal effect. Then, well, she runs like hell.

The last one heads straight for Jamie...but gets hit by Diaeke's plasma.  And falls apart hilariously due to the massive gaping hole.

"You don't think we could outrun that?"

Sona reaches out to the trees behind her adn the grass below her. It begins to grow towards her, forming a strong shelter.

[Caellath]

She tilts her head, before swooping down again, lashing out again with another plasma charged strike before returning to the air to keep Barth safe. This time, to protect Sona from an attack.

Bartholomew holds tight to Diaeke, flattening his body against her both to avoid falling and offer less surface to be hit. "Hmm.."
