Allie fiddles around with her lighter.

[Cassandra]

She tilts her head, and then, regardless of ghost ammunition or normal, she would dive down to the group on the ground..

The shapes resolve into armored knights, although they might as well be suits of armor alone.

"Now then...wait for it..."

A barrage of crossbow bolts hits Maria and the area around her. They simply bounce off, but Maria picks one up off the ground.

"Damn. No ghosts. Oh well. EAT STEEL, YOU SPRING-LOADED BASTARDS!"

Maria charges the offending suits of armor, which appear to be armed with swords and crossbows, though they quickly drop the latter as she approaches.


The Cataphract continues its hilariously ineffectual firing.

[SomeStupidGuy]

"That's... kinda silly. Why does a ship thingy have a ghost?"
Jamie begins firing at the armor.

"Hmm... I have an idea."
Roughly a minute or two later, the matress is on the floor and the metal bedframe is inside Allie.

The full plate mail resists bullets, certainly from this range, as Camille's attempts to shoot them demonstrate further.

Maria takes out her sword and engages about three of them in melee combat. She's holding them off, but she's not exactly breaking them down particularly fast, and five of the others are slipping towards the rest of the group, while the other two seek to surround her.

[Cassandra]

She circles close to the ground, and her claws begin to glow, before she picks a target. She swoops down, slashing several feet above the armor's head, sending a blast of plasma down at it before rising again.

[Caellath]

"I don't think we have to use lethal force here! At least not now!"

Bartholomew yells as he tries to be a smaller target for crossbow bolts by flattening against Diaeke.

[OREOSOME]

Luca fires a few bursts of laser at the Clockwork Knights. The ray begins to heat up the metal, warping it, and hopefully causing it to melt.

"I'm not sure if this was a good idea or a bad idea..."
Allie falls asleep soon after.

Alcron goes back towards the hive.

You know what I am. Any amount of force I use will be lethal.

She chortles.

"Man. Stupid armor guys making my guns all ineffective."

"These things weren't alive to begin with!"

Maria manages to slash through one of the armors. It snaps open, revealing a body full of gears and springs. She fights on against her four remaining assailants.

Luca's and Diaeke's more modern attacks easily take down one of the automatons each. They were made to withstand artillery shots, not melting heats. Again, their clockwork insides are revealed.

[Caellath]

You know what I am. Any amount of force I use will be lethal.

"Sorry, but I'm trying to say that to people who can employ non-lethal means, like Maria. That's why I yelled."

Bartholomew answers with his normal-level voice as if to make his point.

"Well, apparently Maria has an idea of what they are, then...You can attack them freely."
