A rather lucky hit on the engine took out half of the vehicle. Those on board abandoned the remains. I got to watch the infidels wreck them and scatter most of it into the sands.

But here it is. No battle damage. Only slightly rusted. Think it's still venting steam, there."

She points to a spot where some excess steam indeed appears to be vented.

((The Cataphract/crawler is pretty far away from the shack, I think. It's definitely not in the same direction.))

Allie looks outside and sees both people. She puts her clothes back on and opens the door, welcoming them in.
"Hey Lucas! I made a shack!"

Dragon!Diaeke turns her head to look at him.

"I did mention it was a bond..."

"I guess they made a second one."

Then let's hope its on our side. Otherwise we're doomed.
She seems amazed at its size.
Not even the shipyards of Hephaestus VI could make a mech unit that large... That man who made this... He didn't happen to have invented other things like this, did he?

Allie closes the door after waiting for Alcron to enter.

"Possible, but unlikely. It was always too expensive to be practical, no matter how much I cry about the awesome power of God's walking battleship."

She chuckles.

"It doesn't look like anyone's actually on board, though. Engine's still venting but it's awfully-"

At this point, the steam engines roar to life.

"Oh god no."

The massive ironclad ship begins to slowly turn itself towards the party. About ten humanoid shapes drop from its belly, as well, and begin advancing towards the group.

"I did mention it was a bond..."

I noticed. You may end up making me faint one of these days.

He stared back at Dragon!Diaeke.

Allie does her getting ready for bed routine again. She also removes the mask from herself and sets on the floor.

She snickers, and licks his face playfully before facing the walker.

Hmm... Trouble.

Um... Would cover be of any use? I mean, what firepower does this have?
She gets behind a tree, regardless.

Diaeke and Barth soon find themselves surrounded by explosions as the cannons on the walker's back begin to open fire on them.

The enormous cannons on its front soon take aim and fire at a startled Maria and Camille, the latter of which was already running away.

...Despite the massive explosions, however, nothing is actually damaged by any of the shots.

"Well...that does have a certain logic to it. Thank god. Now we can only hope the automatons are ghosts as well..."
