That, in fact, is what is heard in the background, quickly followed by what sounds like a Gatling gun firing. Heavy steps are heard, presumably as the beast turns to face the shooter.

"...IT would appear I have an ally. She's wearing red, scaled ar- OH GOD SHE IS USING A SHARK-SHAPED MINIGUN ATTACHED TO HER ARM."

Camille blinks. ^{"Oh you have got to be kidding me.}

[mcclay]

"WAT!?" The helemet reflects Angeruse's current state of angry confusion.

[Spinal_Taper]

Sona continues watching the screen with a look of disbelief. Adrian is typing codes into his wrist pad, taking occasional breaks to think.

[SomeStupidGuy]

"What?"
James' interest is suddenly drawn to the screen.

[Twi]

"Flaming red hair, pale skin, and something that looks like a keychain full of miniature weapons. Wait, I think she just summoned a full-size spear from it. Probably where she keeps the bloody mini-gun-shark, too."

Sadly, the screen remains blank, due to the video feed being cut. The beast seems to cry out in pain a few moments later, though.

"Ah, she just stabbed it with the spear. MASSIVE spear by the way."

^{"White and glowy?"}

"I think so, why?"

^{"...I'lll tell you later."}

Camille generally raises an eyebrow at the screen.

Sona looks at Camille.
"What's that facial expression supposed to mean?"

[mcclay]

"T-T-THATS FUCKING STUPID!!" The look of confusion is gone from the hemet and raw anger has replaced it, "I MEAN FUCK! WHAT THE FUCK WORLD, WHAT THE FUCK!"

[Twi]

^{"It means that Davi's friend is probably infringing on some ancient copyright."}

A few moments later, there is a loud THUMP.

"Hah. Compared to eldritch abominations, that was more than easy."

The person steps towards Davi. "Er..."

"Hey, who are you talking to?"

"Oh. Friends."

The video feed is suddenly back. A short, pale, flame-haired lady in full red scale mail (dragonscale if you had to guess) is looking into the camera.

"Er. Use this."

"Ah, much better. Hi there!" She waves to the camera.

[mcclay]

"THREE FUCKING QUESTIONS: WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU AND WHY IS EVERYTHING YOU DO SO FUCKING STUPID!?"

Sona pushes Angerus away.
"Excuse him. He's rather angry. So, what's your name?"

[Cassandra]

"THREE FUCKING QUESTIONS: WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU AND WHY IS EVERYTHING YOU DO SO FUCKING STUPID!?"

"Thissss frooom a man with poowerrr feet."

She snickers.

"SHUT UP! THESE WERE PASSED DOWN THROUGH MY CHAPTER FOR DECADES!"
