"Sorry if I act strange sometimes, Ke. I was with a girl once, and I think it hasn't been enough time for me to forget her." he says, staring at the area of trees the sound came from.

Barth turns his head to Ke once more before nodding to the side of the brook. "Could you leave the water and look away from me now? I need to get my body dry and wear my clothing. Also, could you tell Alith to stop peeking on me? It is unnerving."

Meanwhile, Alith runs back to the brook with a dead deer over his shoulder and moaning from the woods.

"Run. Now."

Barth just ducks behind the same rock he had been using as a support for his chin and arms. "There are better moments to attack someone!"

She pulls herself away from Barth, and starts to shift. She's determined to protect him until he can at least get changed and get away, although the fact that her blood is being spilled in the water might be a bit awkward. She growls fiercely at the shadows. The arrows bounce off the armor plating quite ineffectively.

She moves infront of Barth, taking the hits head on. Then her claws glow, and she lashes at the shadows, lightning arcing to them.

They retaliate by throwing rocks at the snakegirl.

She hisses, and lashes at one of the rocks with her tail, shattering it. She manages to avoid the others, and her claws begin glowing again. The water around her starts to steam.
