I'm assuming the insect, but it seems to be quite confused. A quick strike should injure it quite well in it's current state.

Let's go then.
Tyrion bolts from the sky like an armored bomb, stopping to hover just a few inches above the insect. He starts focusing, and Dianea feels a bolt of pain rush through his brain. The insects legs begin to chill.
I think it's not going to come after anyone. Time to stop the giant.

Suffice to say the insect is dumb and pretty much harmless at the moment.

I've got some ideas.
The jetpacks fire off again, and Tyrion flies off towards Narayu. Once again, he takes a position above his target. He focuses again, and the pain shoots through his head once more. Narayus clothes, as well as the plant matter clinging to her, transform into an incredibly heavy substance, a foot wide.

A tendril floats from Tyrion's back, before a glowing red eye appears at the end. Another series of blue tendrils emerge, and her presence would leave his head momentarily as she clings to his back. Then a bolt of Psionic energy would lash out from one of the tendrils, aimed at the smaller troll. A pain bolt, it would seem.
