He points at a toad as he walks, occasionally crouching and picking some herbs. "Generally, we can find lakes and rivers by finding the creatures that need the water to live or reproduce."

Barth notices and moves closer to Ke to watch her mysterious construction.

She holds the squirming toad up triumphantly. Tied to it's leg is a set of slave bells. Probably best not to ask why she has some on hand.

Richard sighed and poked the sleeping Bryan, before reading more fanfic.

Bartholomew takes the toad to take a look at it with a slightly surprised expression before smiling at her. "That may hinder its movement a little." he says before motioning towards the ground near them.

"Sometimes, they aren't going to water, but they may be leaving it. You have to pay attention to how wet they are, how many are there...But even then, good work."

He pokes the bells, listening to their sound before sitting on the ground and letting the toad go, watching where it moves to. "Let's see where it takes us after it moves away."
