The eye on Spikkys forehead closes and she almost seems to be laughing.

He stands up and surveys the area.
"Head on up. If it can support me, it can support any of you."

Nayaru suddenly starts running away, Silver close behind.

"Do you want to come to the forest with me now?" he asks with a smile, already starting to get used to Ke curling her tail around him.

Diaena, what had you mentioned about the difference between "force" and "against her will"?

Spikky gets up and walks away, still almost-laughing.

She nods.

"If you wissssh it.."

She chuckles.

You could force her to come with you, and she couldn't refuse... But she would still have her own WANTS. And she would want to come. My creators were not cruel. When they made a race to help and entertain them, they made sure that their creations would enjoy their lives. They built them to ENJOY orders.

Richard got up and walked around for a bit.

He wondered what Sarimanok looked like, or was. He had studied mythology extensively, and Sarimanok sounded familiar...

Richard sat down and drew something on his tablet.

He looked around the hive.

Bartholomew stands up, careful enough not to end up dropping Ke if she's still coiled around him, and takes his backpack, leaving for the woods.
"Richard, we're leaving but we'll be back after a while."

He moves on a little deeper in the woods, checking the flora throughly and trying to find any of the herbs he's familiar with, as well as the signs of a nearby river. "Ke, do you think there are any sources of clean water nearby? Places with few animals tend to trick my ability to find rivers and brooks."
