Several large humanoid figures come into view, moving unbelievably fast. They close in, and are seen to brandish axes with massive blades. Their tails are lashing in obvious agitation, and their teeth are bared in absolutely psychotic grins.

She hides her face, squeezing Barth.

Barth hugs Ke tenderly, his arms in various stages of bandaging. He notices most of the group seems fine...Except for Bryan. Again.
"Hey Bryan, are you ok?"

She sticks her head out, and hisses, sending a glob of paralyzing venom at one of the chasers.

"Damn." is all Bartholomew says before he starts to chuck bundles of Devil's Breath on fire at the creatures along with some pints of oil to set them alight with fire and terribly foul odor.

The Lose begins casting defensive spells as fast as it can in an attempt to leave them behind. The fine white robe starts fraying and decaying.

Allie fires two more shots at the Torikan women.

Nenikii hears the noise of roaring from where she just ran from.

James swerves as he sticks his revolver out the window and fires a few blind shots at the torikan.

Lucas fires, and roars almost as loud as the incoming foes.
"Always attempt to seem worse than the predators."

Silver sticks her head out the window and looks back, then quickly turns to James.

"Faster!"

Most of his Devil's Breath leaves gone, Bartholomew sighs deeply, holding Ke's midsection with one arm and putting the hatchet on his lap. He stares at the torikans and sighs. The vehicle is fast, but they surely move fast.

"How fast can they move?" he asks Bryan.

((AFK for some time.))

Silver sticks her head out the window and looks back, then quickly turns to James.

"Faster!"

James glares at her for a moment and says,
"Believe me, I would... Can't you fly or something?"

"Hey Bryan, are you ok?"

"Flashbacks! I was chased across the surface of a mostly-undeveloped garden world by a Clan Ixarn bounty hunter once. It was terrifying."

She sticks her head out, and hisses, sending a glob of paralyzing venom at one of the chasers.

The glob hits the lead Torikan in the face, blinding her. She roars in pain, before leaping at the truck, managing to scrape its rear fender with her claws, before she hits the ground hard.

"Not good."

Allie fires two more shots at the Torikan women.

Lucas fires, and roars almost as loud as the incoming foes.
"Always attempt to seem worse than the predators."

The shots hit one of the Torikan, barely slowing her down. Seems that blind, psychotic rage and adrenaline make for fairly effective painkillers. They all roar even louder in response to Lucas' roar, the sound being almost painful.

"How fast can they move?" he asks Bryan.

"They shouldn't be moving this fast! It has to be some kind of augmentation!"

Silver sticks her head out the window and looks back, then quickly turns to James.

"Faster!"

James glares at her for a moment and says,
"Believe me, I would... Can't you fly or something?"

Silver facehoofs.

"How did I forget that?"
