Luca holsters the rifle, and begins to tear apart the mech by touch. Hitting the foe with the palm, then peeling parts away as she dodges, she begins to destroy the enemy.

Jamie sighs in relief, then moves to the one chasing Camille, hoping to at least occupy it until someone else can take it out.

[Twi]

^{"Easily! But I want to take it forrrr myself. Is that so much to ask?"}

The enemy takes damage, but swings away with its sword regardless, though it's not the most accurate.

The one chasing Camille turns its attention to Jamie and tries to take his/her head off.

She crouches slightly and raises her sword to deflect the blow.

[Spinal_Taper]

"I'm just saying, we need to all know about this thing, and how it works."

[Cassandra]

She circles in the air, and then, instead of predictably swooping down a third time, she opens her mouth, sending a freezing blast at the one attacking Jamie. To slow it down, it seems.

^{"Ohhh, so you want us to do science?~"}

Camille fires her pistol some more, without much effect.


Jamie manages to deflect the blow, but it's not easy, and the automaton immediately goes in for another swing. A mildly slowed down one, as it turns out, due to the freezing blast.

Meanwhile Allie wakes up and reaches for the tablet she left on the dresser..
"Madness Combat Nexus time, I suppose."

[Spinal_Taper]

"Have fun."

"No no, we don't need to do science. We just need to coordinate our efforts. Figure out how to best attack it."

[Twi]

^{"Well, if we can get past the automatons, we should be able to go in and stop its power source. And it looks like the former weren't made to be laser-proof. Or plasma-proof. Hehe."}

Maria destroys another Automaton. She now faces only two.

Jamie jumps back and moves to slash the automaton's sword arm.

[OREOSOME]

 Luca finally finishes peeling the parts off, then launches the head backwards as she puts her hand on it.
Oh yeah...

"Okay."
She raises her arms, and vines sprout up from the earth, ensnaring the remaining automatons.

Allie pulls the bedframe back out. She puts the matress back on and plays games on the tablet.

The automatons are ensnared long enough for Maria to smash straight through them with a couple of good swings.  Luca easily takes hers to pieces, too.

As for the third and final one that's dueling Jamie, Camille comes back for it and promptly delivers eight rounds into the relatively thinner rear armor, between the neck and head, at point blank range.

She then runs away a bit, as the automaton promptly goes out of control, moving randomly and quickly falling all over itself.
