Bryan looks visibly shaken.

"You WHAT?"

^{"Unfortunately, we don't exactly have a neuroscientist here, do we?"}

"Well, we have a psychic, but I don't think he's telepathic even if he wasn't...asleep, I think."


Camille turns to her computer screen.

^{"Hey guys!"}

"Huh?"

^{"One of our people here has suddenly developed a rather disturbing appetite, on the level of 'wants to eat people'. And managed to swallow a soda whole. ...and had her eyes spontaneously change color. Course, she already has four arms. Any help?"}

"Actually, I WAS majoring in neuroscience..."

^{"Oh thank-"}

"But I was horrible at it, which is why I focused on my other major."

^{"Crap. I knew I couldn't get THAT lucky."}

"Ow! Fuck! My back!"
Allie puts her hands on the section of her back roughly inbetween her two sets of shoulderbones.

[Twi]

^{"So, Allie, if you're already mutated...you could probably mutate more? I guess that explains it. But it sounds rather painful."}

Camille winces.

^{"And more importantly, I have no idea what to do about it. I don't exactly have a 'genetic stabalizer' or whatever those people call it on me."}

[Vorthon]

"Mutation does not work that way. Please don't let it work that way here. Please."

[Twi]

^{"What, did you expect this to make scientific sense, Bryan? How about YOU come up with some way of helping her! Maybe you've got some that reasonably resembles a safe painkiller in all of those drugs of yours, hmm?"}

Allie starts screaming in pain. And then stops. Just a whimper now.
_{"It hurts so bad..."}

"I don't really think so. And even if there was, Barth's got the key and I haven't seen him lately."

^{"...You seriously don't?"}

Camille slaps her forehead.

Maria walks over to and looks at Allie.

Having nothing better to do, she decides to try and heal her.

^{"...I rather doubt that'll do anything, but if you want to.."}

The healing fails to do anything except for amplifying whatever's happening to Allie. Little bumps are coming out of the places her hands were covering.
"Ithurtsithurtsithurtsithurtssobad!"

"Oh god what the fuck."

Bryan starts backing up, stumbling slightly.

Maria stops healing and panics.

"Where the...Where's Barth?"
