Maria is once again ticking to rid herself of hallucinations, and the fact that she can attack multiple foes with anti-heal, if somewhat inefficiently, is also quite helpful.

And she's had PLENTY of experience with being outnumbered and surrounded. Four enemies is nothing!

Allie catches up to the group after taking a quick nap.
"Hey Richard, when'd you touch the necklace- how long have you guys been fighting?"

Allie goes all axemurderer on the soldiers.
"Heheheh."

"I touched it when I tripped over while looking at fanfic."

"Don't worry Allie. You didn't miss much."
James continues shooting, taking out hallucinations and the occasional real enemy.

Pendragon finishes off one group of hallucinations simply by ramming into them after running.

Lucas engages human shadow, as Maria takes out the other 3 temple guards. Meanwhile, The invisible one attempts to sneak up on Allie, but is quickly hacked to pieces. However, about 20 or so of the soldiers and other shadow guards appear from the ground, and also attempt to engage.

Pendragon rushes around, looking for opponents to destroy and runs at another group.

Richard looks slightly tired.

Maria refuses to be outdone. In fact, she's worked up that competitive spirit again and is now slicing through enemies, real and imagined (though hopefully less of the latter, due to concentration and the magic of ticking really loudly) at a fairly absurd rate. She almost looks like a dervish, what with all of her spinning. Except with a greatsword, of course.

James makes sure to keep outside of Maria's radius of death and fights the other enemies.

Pendragon slices several enemies in half, real and illusionary.

((I just realized that Maria is trying to outdo Richard's mind. ))

((Well yeah but she is an honest-to-goodness battle-hardened knight. Richard is still a college student, even when puppeting a knight-type summon. ))

All the Illusions fade as the source of them, as well as the rifle person, are killed. Maria and Pendragon both attempt to attack the laser hand guy, and they even outdo the creepy teleporting girl, killing both. Only about 5 of the soldiers remain, and they fall back to the door, where the other one of the teleporting one is, as the Human shadow is killed.

Allie cackles like a madwoman and continues deading the soldiers.

Richard smirks and tries something out.

"This might work."

Ixion appears alongside Pendragon and the Queen of Knights raises her sword , before the Fallen King sparks lightning onto the blade, blasting all enemies in range with gold tinted lightning.

Maria smirks and moves to, as they say, FINISH THEM.

She appreciates the help from Pendragon, though, as evidenced by another one of those little nods.

"Now THIS is a good battle!"

Speaking of, she doesn't mind the lightning and again channels any stray bits into her sword, helping it heat up and therefore cut better.
