The Persona looks back at Maria, and gives a barest hint of a smirk before slicing into one other enemy and cornering another.

"Eh, it wouldn't help for myself to leap into combat and fight."

James follows the others, slashing at the shadows, occasionally shooting at the farther off ones when he begins running out of shadows in sword range.

[OREOSOME]

The majority of the shadows guarding the entrance quickly die, but more of them come. Some of the Faceless Guards begin to open fire, and even some sort of Tank-like vehicle comes to attack. Lucas slices up several of the guards.
This is almost too easy...

"Great, now we're going to get slaughtered by something big!"

Richard stepped further back and decided whether or not to switch out Pendragon.

[Twi]

"Not what I meant. If it only knows what you know..."

She shrugs, before returning Pendragon's smirk and fighting on. Now that she has someone to compete against, she seems to be rapidly improving her combat, slicing through things faster, moving more quickly about; and even swinging hard enough to slice through solid metal (it helps that the sword is actually very sharp indeed, far sharper than any normal steel, contrary to what its bulky appearance might suggest at first glance).

Of course, she uses two hands for the aforementioned feat, directed against the tank.

Richard shrugged.

"Good point."

Pendragon sliced into one more opponent and vanished.

Ixion appeared in her place, zapping the two nearest enemies.

James begins picking off the guards with his rifle, ignoring the armored vehicle for the moment.

Ixion reared and turned around.

He saw the armored vehicle.

"Crap."

[Spinal_Taper]

Adrian steps between the group and the vehicle, glaring directly into the cockpit. He shouts out a warning.
"Don't touch them."

Richard looked at Adrian like he was some fool.

He knew how it went: saying something like 'Go through me' always ended with the sayer being gone through.

Unless they had some massive firepower.

The tank stops, and begins to unfold various weapons. It fires a large cloud of bullets at the group, as Maria damages the large cannon on top.
Oh shit, AIM FOR THE LARGE BARRELS TO TAKE THE KINETICS DOWN!
He continues slicing up the soldiers.

Richard sucked and Ixion flew above the cloud to dodge the attack.

Ixion responded with a blast of lightning at the vehicle.

James follows Lucas's instructions and begins firing at the barrels.

Adrian holds his hand out at the tank, letting the bullets plink off of his armor (Presumably. Don't know what caliber they are.). He begins turning its chassis to mercury, ignoring the pain in his head.

Maria continues to be a freaking anti-tank swordsman! Since the barrels are an easy target, and she can just be on top of the turret and thus be fairly untargetable, she continues to slice away at them like that.

"Here's a present for you!"
