[Spinal_Taper]

Sona walks over to the pile of dirty clothes and starts sorting through them. She pulls out her robe with a frown.
"So this is where it got to."
She sighs and heads outside, beckoning for her new friend to join her.

Adrian just nods.
"Just don't expect it to work all the time."

[Twi]

^{"Heh, I'm not. Never failed me before, though. It would be a first. Speaking of which, done synching! Okay, Davi, go out there and boot it up."}

Davi obliges, and Camille gets her end ready as well.

Arandal follows Sona, chirping cheerfully.

[Spinal_Taper]

Sona leads Arandal to the brook, where she dips her robe into the water and begins to wash it.
"I assume you've never been in a place like this before either."

[Twi]

Arandal plays around in the water, and tries to skip (much, much lower velocity) bullets off of it, with... limited success, at first.

^"...."

IT would appear Tyrion struck a nerve.

In any event, Camille sighs.

"Okay, Davi! Go for it!"

In a few moments, Davi appears on Camille's laptop. She waves to the screen, and Camille waves back.

"Hi."

^"Hi."

[OREOSOME]

Lucas turns in his sleep, and mumbles something about a lab of some sort.

Meanwhile, in the sky, the pod-ship continues its long descent. It is still high above the Hive, but in the meantime, it begins a cycle of machinery activation, long, long overdue... The sole passenger begins to thaw out. The pod will vent the melted cyro ice once it reaches the clouds covering the sky above the forest.

Adrian shrugs.
"Remember, a lot of what you learn in your old world is useless here, or at least used differently. You can't expect everything to work, especially in some of the more chaotic areas here. I'm impressed you got that working though."

Sona, having finished washing her clothes, watches Arandal play in the water, a look of amusement on her face.

[Twi]

Arandal finally gets it to work by launching flat-topped spinning gears.  It lets out a cry of victory, and stands up on its hind legs to celebrate...and promptly falls over backward.

It gets better, though.

^{"Yeah, yeah, but...just look, damn it!"}

Camille grins like an idiot.
^{"Anyways, come back in here, Davi. I have stuff for you."}

Sona picks up Arandal and puts it back on its feet before patting it.
"Poor little guy."

Adrian leans back and continues watching their testing.

[OREOSOME]

Lucas flops off the couch, but stays floating in the air, still asleep.
((I'm gonna go to be now. Goodnight everyone!))

[Caellath]

"I underrrrssstand... And I'm ssssooorrrrrry foooorrr sssspeaking ssssoooo rudely... Perrrhapsss, ssshe wassss the pooolite ooone... I guessss we will ssssee laterrrr, when we find a way tooooo fix herrr?"

"I'm going to wash my whole clothing...You can follow me after I call for you and get in the water after I'm already inside if you want to, then." he says, scratching the back of his head awkwardly before walking towards the brook and making sure no one is nearby.

After a while, Barth calls for Ke. "Ke, you can come now if you want to!"

[Twi]

Arandal leaps away and zooms off.

It ends up bumping into Barth.

"Entschuldigung."

It promptly resumes it's previous activity of skipping cannon-launched gears off the brook.

Davi soon finds herself with a set of boots similar to Camille's, as well as a protective broad-brimmed hat, black gloves, and some sort of goggles.

"I don't really need all-"

^{"Take it anyways."}

"...If you say so!"

[Cassandra]

Once calls for her, she slithers into the brook, coming to rest with her tail coiled slightly on the bottom. She remains silent for now.

[Caellath]

Arandal leaps away and zooms off.

It ends up bumping into Barth.

"Entschuldigung."

The medic notices the mechanical spider and offers a timid smile.
"Hello, once again."

Once calls for her, she slithers into the brook, coming to rest with her tail coiled slightly on the bottom. She remains silent for now.

"...Ke, you can talk to me if you want to. Silence rarely helps anyways." he says, moving to the same mossy green rock he had used as support and cover the last time he had been to the brook. He still lookds sad, but trying his best to hide it and soothe the snakewoman.

The young man put crosses his arms over the moss and rests his head on it, staring at Ke and trying to establish a conversation. "How often did you go out when you were with your former master?"

[Cassandra]

"Verrrrry rrrarrrrely.... Sssshe wasssn't exactly in a dangerrrrrooooussss place... Ooooverrr the yearrrrs, I might have ssssspent aboooout twooooo daysss, tooootal?"

She shrugs, rolling her shoulders.

[Twi]

The spider seems to nod, then walks off again, now climbing onto Ke for no apparent reason. Maybe it's just trying to be friendly.

"Hallo~"
