Suddenly the landscape seems newer, and the sound of fighting can be heard by him. Another flash, and the land is back to the wrecked form, although now it is littered with fresh but somehow rotting bodies.
My god... What happened here?
He enters the structure, and another flash, showing some soldiers firing on a strange metallic foe, and then... The soldiers slumped against the walls, in a staggered way.

Leonia floats in from the horizon, a mind-controlled mammoth-like creature following her from behind. What the hell were they up to? she thought as she looks at the fallen giant trolls, and the other rubbles.

By zombifying she meant poisoning the thing and causing it permanent brain damage.
