He reaches towards his backplate and presses a button, whereupon it pops out. After placing it on his lap and pulling a few latches, he hands her a battery pack.
"Generator's in there."
He goes back to sitting beside the wall.

Bryan continues to mewl, before rolling over onto his side.

"Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee."

Davi generally plays around like a little wolf cub.

"Eh, I'd say it looks more bland than ugly. Doesn't really change your point, though."

"Boring. Still, can't argue with results, I guess."

"Would you rather have a glowing gun that gets you shot, or a bland gun that won't get you shot?"

Kwykathen yawns as she sits up.

"Wha happened?"

Bryan's eyes go freakishly wide, and he goes a little fish-eyed, his mouth hanging open.

"Well, for one thing the glowing would be kinda gaudy. Anyways, I'm just kidding around. Didn't mean to offend you or anything."

Camille finishes the scans of both objects and gives them back to Tyrion, along with a little piece of metal engraved with the words 'DO NOT PANIC.'

^{"Very nice alloys, if I do say so myself. But I have access to quite a few tricks that these people did not..."}

She begins to design her own version. Besides the brassy exterior color, the most obvious difference is that the barrel is a bit thicker, to house several unusual lenses near the end that can be flipped in and out of the actual laser beam.


Davi stops singing and just hugs Bryan, giggling.

"So cuuuute."

"Not offended. Just making sure you realize why glowing weapons are bad."
He takes a look at his rifle.
"What would make me panic?"

The words on the metal have changed to 'DEPRESSION IS UNHEALTHY.'

Davi can feel every muscle in Bryan's body tense, before he leaps up and starts sprinting around the Hive, screaming like mad, his duster fluttering behind him.
