"If you were a lone wolf, I could easily understand that. But instead, you're a Seeker- a sort of knight, if you will. Your job is to help others, yet you refuse to put an ounce of faith in them. Why is that?"

Camille raises an eyebrow and goes next to Lucas.

^{"Something freaked you out?"}

Davi looks at him with concern as well.

[Spinal_Taper]

Camille raises an eyebrow and goes next to Lucas.

^{"Something freaked you out?"}

Davi looks at him with concern as well.

"More people die from their own incompetence than an actual threat. Most of those left make a small threat bigger than it is. Not going to let them die by their own idiocy. Also, where did you get that we're like knights?"

The screaming and banging continues, before devolving into incomprehensible crying. It sounds vaguely feminine.

[OREOSOME]

"I-I think I hear someone."
He heads to the pod where it seems loudest.
"I seems like its coming from here."

[Twi]

"Well, what knights are supposed to be, anyways. Protecting those unable to protect themselves. In practice, certain people don't even try to follow that creed..."

She says 'certain people' with an air of hatred.

((Does Camille hear the screaming?))

Camille raises an eyebrow and follows Lucas, ready to grab him and RUN LIKE HELL.

[Spinal_Taper]

((Yes she does. I assume the party is in groups of Maria & Tyrion, Camille & Lucas, then everyone else is hanging out near the enterance.))
"Makes sense."
Tyrion turns and looks at Lucas for a bit.

The crying and screaming dies down.
I-Is someone out there? Do I hear people?

[OREOSOME]

"Yes...? Who are you?"
He brandishes the rifle cautiously at the pod.

[Twi]

^{"Hey Lucas, I don't think you're actually hearing someone. Might be a psychic thing. I'm just guessing, though. Tyrion is giving you weird looks, sooooo..."}

Davi starts singing softly, in an attempt to help Lucas concentrate, except without the annoying repetition.

[OREOSOME]

"I don't think that could happen. As far as I know, the extent of my abilities is just moving things with my mind."

[Spinal_Taper]

"Yes...? Who are you?"
He brandishes the rifle cautiously at the pod.

I can't remember. I just barely woke up, and I was trapped.
She starts crying again.

Tyrion looks into one of the pods.

[Twi]

^{"Mmm. Perhaps."}

Camille starts looking through the pods as well.

Maria does that to. "Did I hear someone?" Interestingly, she is also ticking now.

Even Davi joins in the search.

[OREOSOME]

"... Stay still. I'm going to try to get you out of there."
He begins unscrewing the bolts sealing the pod shut.

[Spinal_Taper]

As Lucas works, he hears a voice from behind him, an aristocratic, feminine voice, with tones of authority and superiority infused into it like water into wet paper.
Clever boy.
Then, he feels twin needle like fangs sink into his flesh and a drowsiness begin to overtake him.

Tyrion suddenly shouts.
"Stop Lucas now! I think something's got him! Don't. Trust. Anything."

The others see Lucas begin to swoon. However, each of them is distracted by a growl sounding just like Buckler coming from behind them.

[OREOSOME]

"Wha... Iiissss... haaaapppenn-*!THUMP!*"
Lucas quickly falls Unconsious.

[Twi]

Camille, unfortunately, figures she can outrun Buckler, and thus grabs Lucas and tries to run off with him at 100 miles an hour.

Emphasis on tries, because if he has indeed been bitten she may not succeed (But Camille doesn't know that~). At the very least, she feels some resistance. Still, if she could drag Maria up the stairs against her will... While she's at it, she shoots a few blind shots around her.

^{"Tyrion's right! Something hit Lucas, and I'm guessing we're probably being fed some kind of illusions!"}

Davi starts singing a song again, trying to fend off the aforementioned mind-altering effects.

Maria starts to turn to face the sound, until her scabbard decides to attack the phantom Buckler that presumably exists instead. If no such Buckler it exists, it simply says:

"Das ist ein Phantasm!"

[Caellath]

She hugs Barth quietly. She has come back out of hiding, it seems.

Barth answers by hugging her back and looking around, warily.
"What now? Illusions?"
