"Because you didn't know that would happen."

Satisfied that she has her blade back, Maria goes back to regenerating Alith's leg.

"My leg. MY LEG!"

Alith actually looks worried. The adrenaline of the fight has numbed his pain, and now he realizes he can't move his right leg.

Because it's been ripped straight off. Maria's healing is regenerating it, painfully and slowly.

Alith decides to concentrate on good memories to not concentrate on the fact that his leg's been torn off.

[Spinal_Taper]

Buckler snarls as the maw opens up beneath it, and leaps away, firing a round into the tendrils. The cannon reloads again, and it stares at the crater where there used to be sheet metal.

Tyrion looks around at his companions.
"Let's get away. As fast as possible."
He fires some blind covering shot with his rifle. Then, he points to a door behind him and yells out
"Shuttles! Behind me! Go!"

Alith sighs and groans.

"I MIGHT need a little help here!"

[Twi]

Camille grabs Alith and drags him away to the door without much regard for his comfort.

Maria, meanwhile, also moves in that general direction, still healing Alith as she walks.

Davi shrugs, and breathes in deep... before letting out an eerie, piercing howl. Hopefully, in the grim dark future, wolf still eat dog. Or at least wolf scare dog.

Then she runs the hell away too.

Alith begins sweating from the pain.

His leg has regenerated to his knee, but he still cannot concentrate enough to fire his bow if he could.

[Cassandra]

She seems to have evaporated under the blast. But then a maw opens on the ceiling above Buckler, and a tendril lashes at the gun, trying to cut through it.

[Spinal_Taper]

Tyrion watches as the others run off, then breathes deeply.
"LET'S GO PEOPLE!"
He snatches up some of the metal shards and throws them off towards the Briefing Room.


The howl distracts Buckler, and it barks back, but it barks louder, and it barks like a dogs eldritch and evil brother. While its barking, the tendril smashes into Bucklers gun, and the bot is launched sideways into the wall. It barks again, then fires a shot into the ceiling.

[Cassandra]

She seems to vaporize again. A rather burned Diaena melts out of the wall near Tyrion, floating erraticly... And fleeing.

Alith's leg is regenerated up to half his shin now.

His breath is slowing and he's beginning to stop sweating.

[Twi]

Camille takes the opportunity to fire three rounds at the dog, although with carrying Alith her accuracy is not as good as it could be.

Maria is STILL healing Alith, and trying to heal him faster.

Davi just tries to open the door Tyrion indicated.

[OREOSOME]

Luca falls back, and almost immediately a section of hull peels off, and covers the group.
"Yes! My powers are BACK, Baby!"

The door opens up, revealing another hallway identical to the one they just came from, save the markings from the fight with Buckler.

Tyrion dashes behind the cover, following after Diaena.
"Run."
The whine of Bucklers cannon preparing sounds again.

[Twi]

Camille fires her last five rounds with the alpha-strike trigger and not too much aiming, then runs like the wind, taking Alith with her.
Maria ducks behind a piece of cover, continuing to heal-chant till Alith is all regenerated.

And Davi sings to speed people up again. And runs like hell.

[Cassandra]

She moves through the door, exhausted.
