She slithers over to hug Barth tightly.

((Uh oh. Barth is still inside the brook.))

Bartholomew widens his eyes and takes a step back and further towards the center of the brook, trying to avoid Ke's hug.

She tilts her head, and then stops, simply drifting in place now.

A faint pink light starts coming from the circle.

She tilts her head, and then stops, simply drifting in place now.

"...Oh. I'm ssssorry, masssster. I jussst thought..."

"No problem. Sorry if I worried you, I haven't had one of those nightmares for some time. I was surprised, that's all." he says, using his hands to get hold of a slimy rock which protrudes out of the water surface, its base firmly placed at the bottom of the brook.

He smiles and rests his chin over the rock. "I guess in the end we can't just forget about our past lives. It's not that easy."

"Excuse me for a moment. Think I heard something upstairs.
James climbs upstairs to check out what's happening.

The light brightens.

Tyrion gets off of the wall and walks upstairs as well.
"What's this about a dragon?"
Sona walks up to the group and stands impatiently.
"Yeah, you guys woke me up."

The light is now very bright.

She nods, tilting her head curiously.

"You haven't ssssaid much about your passt... Only that you are needed. What wassss it like?"

James doesn't even blink as the light intensifies.
"What the hell?"

Thin purple streaks start swirling in from nowhere.

"I blame Silver."
Tyrion continues watching the light.
Sona gives a small sigh.

"You haven't ssssaid much about your passt... Only that you are needed. What wassss it like?"

"Well" he starts, adjusting his arms over the mossy rock and resting his head on them. "I lived in a kingdom which had no name, or you could even say it had many. Balastaria, Nerravel, Serraplate, Altavia...The constant struggle for power and the fact each powerful house named the vast lands differently guaranteed no one knew the kingdom's definite name."

He continues after a short pause. "The fight for power and the greed of the houses reflected badly in the peasantry and common people with the raising of levies and the constant demand of food to supply troops and the burgs. I was born in a time of relative peace, and our main problem at the time were the adventurers."

The young medic sighs. "They were thrill-seekers, mercenaries, treasure hunters and searchers of lore, or so they say. If before the constant quarrel between the noble houses got them busy and happily supplied with quests, with the amount of fighting diminishing, they started to become even more of a problem to the common people. In the name of their 'ideals' while most were actually driven by little more than greed and fun, they started to wreck havoc around the land."
