Sona cringes in pain as Kwy bites the vines cocooning her.
"Now then. I've got this. All of you, step back."
She scowls and steps closer to Kwy. The sound of twisting and breaking flesh comes from her back as the vines expand and strengthen.

Bryan squeaks in fear, as he's pushed away.

Kwykathen snarls and squirms, trying to break free. She spits in Sona's face, an absolutely psychotic grin on her face.

Maria may be tough, but she's not THAT heavy, unfortunately...  So she can hardly stop the wall of death like that.

In any event, she gets back up behind her and gets her book out, which is glowing that angry orange again.

Sona doesn't react, her face seeming set in stone. The vines continue expanding and cocooning her as the sound becomes more and more apparent.
"Apologize."
The vines tighten.

The vines stay there for a moment, before Sona slowly widens her eyes and lets Kwy drop.
"Now I'll stop."
The vines whip backwards, flying back into her shoulderblades. They had left two holes in her robe, which now show two angry red scars which are slowly fading back to normal.
