Maria smirked. "Is that so? I think I'd prefer a bit of weirdness over...this. Besides, I can't very well just sit around and do nothing. It goes against just about everything I know."

"Honestly, I know the feeling. We just got back from an adventure of sorts, so we're just messing around a bit. I'm sorry if we made a bad first impression."

"To be honest, if you wanted to do something, could've come in a bit earlier. We fought some big Shadow thing. A bloody ham."

Two more of the same kind of dragon appear and start flying around Richard, chirping happily.

Richard smirks.

"You could get a living as a stage magician in Equestria doing that, Silver."

[Twi]

"Well, maybe I just need a break and I'll come back soon?" Maria suggested. "But I definitely need a break, and a few strange adventures wouldn't hurt, so...guess you're out of luck for now. Ah, well... Maybe I'll run into something dangerous! Who knows?"

And now she's DEFINITELY wandering off. Still ticking.

Richard sighs.

"Good luck then."

"Ah yes, the Great and Powerful Silver!"

As she says that, Silver stands on her hind legs and mini fireworks go off.

"Silver the Magnificent,"Richard said and smiled wryly.

"I would do the same, except my stage tricks...hurt a bit more."

Lucas carefully picks up the veil, and hovers it outside, where he launches it hopefully where they'll never find it.

Well, Maria's gone now.

...That is, until she returns to view looking a bit dented up and dragging some sort of enormous, gear-covered sword behind her.

"...Well, that was fast. Did that place mess with time or something?"

"Yes."

[OREOSOME]

"Nice sword. Probably the place did speed up time."

Nayaru turns off the tv, gets up, and stretches.

"thAt's seAson one fInIshed"

[Twi]

"Figures. And someone tried to shoot me full of holes along the way. And all I have to show for it is this lousy sword! I mean, you can't even use this as a sword! What good is it?!"

As she says that, the gears that cover it begin to turn, making a noise which she notices and turns around to see, only to witness the spontaneously moving doodads.

"...What."
