Richard took out his Evoker instinctively.

Spikky is heading back to the hive and sees her. She growls.

She looks at Richard, and curls protectively around Barth.

The confused machine stares at Spikky.

((Spikky is giant three-eyed catlikething, right?))

"...What the....a demon?"

She reaches for the book on her waist, which begins to glow an angry orange as she touches it and starts pulling it out. Huh?

On a not actually unrelated note, that ticking is quieting down.

[Vorthon]

Kwykathen comes out of the forest behind Maria, the corpse of some kind of animal slung over her shoulder.

"Well what do we have here?"

((And she's very big.))

Nayaru cautiously leaves the hive.

Richard walked to the door and out.

"Who are you and where did you come from?"

[Twi]

Said person turns and stares at Kwykathen. It would appear that she did not make a good first impression, either.

"Wh..what are....."
Maria's expression seems to be a mix of fear and anger, and she's holding that book very tightly.

And then she sees Richard. Surprisingly, this seems to put her over the edge, as her face is filled with rage.
"So I've been taken to a demon summoner's convent, is that it?"

...Did she actually hear what he said?

"Demon summoner? What the hell?"

Kwykathen chuckles, amused by Maria.

"No. But you are lost. We all are."

Spikkys third eye closes and she relaxes. She turns and walks away with her tail in the air.

"I agree with the Torikan. For once."

[Caellath]

Bartholomew waves over to the newcomer from where he's having his body wrapped by Ke's tail.
"Pleased to meet you. Bartholomew Alteon, medic."

Maria stares back and forth between Richard and Kwykathen, before finally settling on the latter.

"You. What sort of...beast are you?" She's still angry and tense for no apparent reason. Great...

[OREOSOME]

"Well Barth, I am kinda worried. But then again, would it really matter? I mean, we might be stuck here for the rest of our lives, so why the hell would it matter if I'm stuck like this? Also, shut it, Richard."
She notices the newcomer.
"Oh, uh... Hello there. I'm Lucas."
