The Shadow prepares to attack the lusus wih gusts, but it flinches as Pendragon's blade enters its back.

It roars before twisting around to meet the Queen of Knights, growling.

Spikky runs over to the scratching post and pulls a hidden lever. The stairs down are covered by a sliding panel.

One fireball smashes into the sliding panel, blasting it open.

Richard and Pendragon are knocked back.

The medic can't say he hasn't felt the same...The life they have left behind. Even if his was not exactly pleasant, he helped - or at least tried his best to help - ones in need. He wonders how badly the snakegirl misses her former master or owner...How she misses her home.
