Ke coos softly.

Bartholomew keeps stroking Ke's hood with a little of curious joy whilst still retaining a measure of respect, hearing but ignoring Richard's teasing. In these moments, the medic remembers the times when he comforted people who only needed some company to pass in peace...Although he's not completely sure the feeling driving both actions is the same - before, it was kindness and a desire to help, but what now?

So, Ke is a Passive but has a Primal inside her? Is the Primal a completely different being or a secondary personality?

Bartholomew seems to snap out of his thoughts and turns to face James with a smile. "Oh, what?"

[Cassandra]

Ke's tail lashes slightly. She IS able to hear, it seems, and at least some part of her is not amused.

Diaena chuckles in amusement.

They share the same body, although the Primal warps it. They are close to being two seperate minds, but both are Ke. So... Yes, two personalities, would be the best way to describe it. But similar enough to be one being.

Nayaru smiles sweetly at Ke and rides out the door on Spikky.

James smirks and gestures towards the others.

"Ooops." Barth says, pulling back his hand after noticing Ke's tail started lashing about. "I should be less careless."

The young medic raises an eyebrow almost to the point it is hidden by the brown hair that falls over his forehead. "...Does this damage my dignity somehow?"

Silver laughs.

"Yes."

"Hey, I'm just kidding. I do genuinely respect you, no doubts about that."

[Cassandra]

She lifts her head, glaring at the others.

"Leave massster alone!"

Richard smirked teasingly.

"Just telling the truth."

Bartholomew shrugs. "I'm sorry then. From where I came from, this kind of thing is fairly common between people who care about each other."

"Then again, my idea of what's proper may have been twisted by my years as a wandering doctor." he says with a sigh, staring down. "I spent much of my time visitting people who had already lost their hope and all I could do was wait by their side so they wouldn't die alone."

The young man raises his head and smiles. "But thanks for telling me that. I guess I'm one the people with the least dignity of this group, and I'm proud of it."

"No, it is fine, I'm not bothered by that kind of thing. I'm not too fond of the concept of dignity and honor. I prefer to believe in duty and determination." he answers, turning back to Ke.

"Good to see you awake."
