Ariana continues watching Pinwheel as it looks around the forge.

"Oh, hey there Ori. I was doing some thinking. I didn't really have time to rest, back before I arrived here."
He sighs in relief, and puts his hands behind his head to relax.

Richard is looking up more stuff!

Camille smiles a bit.

Ori leans a bit closer to Jacke.

"What was it like?"

Richard receives a call. Failing that, a text or email.

[OREOSOME]

"What? My homeland? Well, Caelondia was okay, before... The Calamity. At least 1 century's worth of civilization wiped out, in such a short time. Since then, I was hiding through the ruins, avoiding wildlife and such."

[Twi]

" Destroyed? How did this happen? It certainly sounds sudden. "

Ori frowns slightly.

[OREOSOME]

"That's the thing about it, too. I have literally no clue what could have possibly caused it. Maybe Colford Cauldron blew up, or... who knows. "
He stares into the air, remembering what he barely saw.

[Twi]

((FML. My other comp is lagging so much it's basically unusable, which is why this took 18 minutes before I said fuck it. D: ))

Ori scratches her head (not that she really scratches much.))
"Well...  I have no idea.
What exactly happened, though? Results, not causes, you know. "

[OREOSOME]

"Everything was just... wrecked, after I could see again. People were turned to ash, and the ground below me was ruined as well, not to mention in the sky. There were Windbags and Squirts, confused and crazed by the madness that had happened. I found myself where the district's core was located, and then, a Scumbag lurched up behind me, and tried to fight. Last thing I saw was a fellow survivor making his way there, before I appeared in the Lost and Found."

Ariana stops watching Pinwheel and wanders off, deciding that for the moment, it's not doing any harm.
Pinwheel continues curiously examining the forge.

Ori frowns.

"Really? Just like that? That sounds... horrible. "

Camille curiously examines Pinwheel.

[OREOSOME]

"Seems like it. If there is one thing I know, It would take the best fire bellows in all of Caelondia to have that sort of result. And if the Cinder's cleaning crew has taught me anything, it's that that amount of heat or energy would make it a quick and painless death. At least they didn't feel it. That would have made it even worse. It's sad, but true. They're with Micia, the Lorn Mother, now."
He seems a bit teary eyed, saying this.

Ori sighs and gently wraps an arm around Jacke. She seems a bit shaken herself.

"I must admit...I have not seen entire worlds collapse. I have seen the crushing embrace of the earth or the sudden explosion of a volcanic vent claim lives about as suddenly, but never on such a... large scale.

For what it's worth from this old chunk of bronze, I pray that your fellows are resting in peace. ... As opposed to not in peace. "

[OREOSOME]

Jacke smiles as Ori wraps her arm around him
"I actually feel better, having someone to talk about it. Thanks."

[Twi]

Ori gives Jacke an actual, if brief, hug. With both arms. (( ))
" You're very welcome, young Jacke. "
She sighs and releases him, smiling back.
