Sapphira is surprised at first, then shrugs and continues working.

Ariana looks up from the book, blinks, then resumes reading.

Sapphira keeps working on those wards.

Those books are like college textbooks! ...except less fragile.

As she reads Ariana absentmindedly creates a series of tiny energy orbs, which she loops through her fingers.

[Twi]

Sapphira glances at Ariana, bemused.

"Don't destroy the book with those, okay? I like my books. "

[SomeStupidGuy]

"Of course not. They're merely light, nothing more." As if to demonstrate, Ariana sends a few drifting towards Sapphira. Upon contact with her, the orbs burst.
"From a handbook of Oolacilian sorcery I found a while back. Filled with magic of that sort..."

[Twi]

Sapphira smiles. "Neat.

You have a lot of cantrips, huh?"

She creates her own set of lights. And juggles them with her tails.

[SomeStupidGuy]

"Heh. A few."
Ariana carefully sets the book down and lets the orbs of light drift away from her hand, where they begin to grow bigger and divide, each one in its own orbit around her.

[Twi]

Sapphira chuckles and gets back to warding things for now.

Ariana leans back against the wall, getting back to reading. The lights stop and hang in the air.
((Gotta get me some sleep.))

Harbinger is talking to Mara and gathering more information.

Richard sees Marie.

"Anything interesting happen-"

The speakers on the ship come to life.

"Testing,testing, 1 2 3.

Right. It works. Good."

Alith is watching YouTube videos. Marie's pet is watching him, chirping.

The speakers come to life AGAIN.

"Testing, testing, boom, bang, pow! Oh, you're still here. Let's fix that. Allow me to make you an offer you can't refuse. "
Damn it, Ana. Stop ruining perfectly good plot with your technomagics.

Cue back-and-forth speaker battle! Or maybe she just talks normally.

"Oh, I'd be more than happy to. It's an easy target.
You take the Lazarus, I'm blowing it to smithereens, preferably with you inside. I think most of us agree that we hate you enough by now to prefer destroying it to letting you have it."
