Thats it, right? 'The song of fate', its called. No one knows what it means. Might just be an old war song. Some think its a prophecy. I don't know. I'm just some kid, who got caught up in the affairs of gods. I don't know why, but that's what happened. The gods got angry, and cast down their fellows from the heavens. And each year, more apprentice Wardens head north. Why, or what their fighting up there, nobody knows. The Elves and Dwarves fear us, for our audacity and pride.

Tara gets rewarded for her speech with surprise umbrella lick.
Well, it's slightly less surprise than normal due to Kogasa!Marie's laughter slightly preceding it.

"See, I was going to greet you niiiice and politelike, until you made that silly little speech... "

"Oh... I- I didn't know someone was listening. Um... Right. This is a bit awkward."
Tara rubbed the back of her neck, somewhat regretting the whole speech she just did.

Ariana wanders over to Tara and Marie. "Good evening."

Tara did just get licked from head to toe by a sentient umbrella. Yikes.
((Kogasa!Marie is still equiped with that monster of an umbrella. Which is technically Kogasa itself, but that's a different story. Yay Touhoustuff that most people probably don't care about! )

Kogasa!Marie twirls around a bit, smirking.

"Please, please. There shall be no awkwardness. Although I wouldn't mind trembling in fear.

I'm Marie Hel. Local nightmare, poltergeist, shapeshifter, smart person, and commiter of mischief. But mostly nightmare.

...Oh, hi Ariana."

"I'm Tara. A nightmare? Interesting. Hah, just like Kaloro, then. Wait, who? One of the others. He watches over the dreams of people. Mostly nightmares as a result, but also some good dreams. Ah. That other voice is Kyrad, by the way."

"Well then, hi Tara, hi Kyrad."

Kogasa!Marie grins.

"If there's something you need to know, ask me. I might know it~ Then again, I might not! But I probably will. "

Nicole pulls out a pocketknife and starts carving the branch, satisfied that it didn't bereak when she struck a tree with it.
