She winks at Tara.

Arnkeni stares off into space as she walks to the walker. She mumbles something.

Nicole picks off dirt from her hand, eventually accidentally cutting it open.
"Ow!"

Sapphira follows Arnkerni, looking more than a little worried.

Tara decides to follow Arnkeni, because coffee.
"Oh... Coffee... I can barely remember the last time I've had that. Was it last choosing day, or the night of falling stars? Besides, both times, I saw Kalver. Hmm... I wonder... Maybe some of the Steel Wardens... appeared here? Seems likely, considering how this plane is apparently supposed to work."

Orichalcum blinks, but follows too.

Sapphira is silent as she follows.

"One of the erm... Guilds, for lack of a better term, from my home kingdom. Basically a order of knights, war magi, and dragonslayers. One of my friends was recruited, two years ago. Around that same time, a traveling archaeologist from the west came, and choose to take me on as his apprentice."

Arnkeni barricades the doors to the room.
Whatever sounds the coffee machine makes are being made.

Ori ponders this.
"Interesting..."
Sapphira is intrigued! Or maybe just remembering something.
"I wonder."

Then she hears the coffee machine and raises an eyebrow.

Nathan quietly listens to Tara, until Arnkeni locks herself in the galley((?)). "Well then."

Nicole starts picking bits of skin off of her hand.

She shrugs.
"If you say so. Anyways, where I'm from, there are all sorts of guilds and factions, and every... what, 26th of Aurora? Yeah. Around midsummer, people of 15 years of age must choose to have an apprenticeship with one of the guilds or factions, or even just a tradesman, and work as an assistant. For the Steel Wardens, you get trained in the art of combat, tactics, chivalry, your usual military education, then go get sent as a monster hunter, or to the tundra keeps, up north. You sign up with the Stormer Cartel? Trained in sailing, cannoning, et cetera, and protect their merchant navies."
