"Well, I suppose any guests wouldn't mind a few chairs. And a proper door.  Still gotta fix this thing for you, though."

After a bit of fuss, the shield vanishes!

Arnkeni rushes out to gather lost scraps of metal.

"Well then." Nathan carefully pokes at the box in the middle of the room.
"What's this thing?"

" Very useful! It keeps the place at a comfortable temperature, pressure, and humidity for humans and Abyssals alike, provides a --admittedly somewhat flimsy- protective shield against dangers, and best of all, it's light and easy to carry! Oh, and it also serves as a light source.

Sort of camping gear for the Underdark. "

"Ah... Neat."

"It's not as useful as it sounds. It takes a bit to set up, and the shield is kinda flimsy. Usually it's only reallly good as a warning... or stopping overstimulated demonbloods, apparently.

Still, it works just fine for a one-statue show like myself. "

Arnkeni has finished work on the components of the door. Now she's assembling it.

Tara and Lucas are having a conversation, in the galley. Both Jacke and Cath are listening in.
"So... You have another mind inside of your own? Interesting."
"Not really, she just is annoying, really."
"Any other questions you'd like to ask me?"
"Well, you make mention of these 'veil' objects. From the description of what they do, it sounds like some polymorph enchanted cloth. Anything about that would be nice."
Lucas stays quiet for a minute.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah. I'm just waiting for the veil to show up. They usually do, if you mention them. Weird. It didn't show u-"
And then, a veil turned him into a girl yet again. Tara seems amused.
"-p. Ah. There it is."

Nathan shrugs. "Still pretty useful."

Ori shrugs.

"So, where are you from? "

[SomeStupidGuy]

"Uh, Earth, I guess. It was... kinda dull compared to this place."

[Twi]

"Earth? That name sounds familiar. "

[SomeStupidGuy]

"Seems like a few of the others came from some variation of it, so there's that."
Nathan shrugs, yet again, because it's shruggin' time, apparently.

Ori shrugs right back, leaning on the wall.
